Even though much of my work is literally TOO BIG FOR WORDS, occasionally I am inspired to write, and this is the place for that. Feel free to join in the conversation. Thanks for reading.
Life can feel pretty lonely sometimes. Although the path is lined with gorgeous views, I have often yearned for my team, my tribe, or as my niece calls them, "my peeps." Where are you? Come out, come out! Luckily, a wise woman told me to find "similarly situated women" to walk the path with me. Although it took some time, I did indeed find my peeps. And the path became easier to walk.
We are in a constant state of transition and it seems that life isn't going to slow down anytime soon. So, here we are - leaping from one career into the next, walking from one doorway into the next, ending and beginning relationships, closing doors, raising children and sending them in to the world, constantly turning the page on the next chapter. The supportive and creative power of a consciousness-raising circle is an awesome thing to witness. Over the course of the past year, I have had the privilege to facilitate many of these, what I call, "Centering Circles." The topic is not important. nor is the location. What matters more is the intention and participation of the persons present. In the safe context of a Circle, I have seen inspiration, empowerment and creativity catch spark, radiate and then flow. Inspired by many circle-creators and circle-tenders on whose shoulders I now stand, I know the necessity of reviving this ancient tradition. Will you join me?

Susan LucciAlthough most of the work I am privileged to do in the world is literally TOO BIG FOR WORDS, occasionally I am inspired to put some words to my experience, and this is the landing place. Chime in on the conversation. Your voice is needed. |
